Overview
The Nursery & Landscape Association Executives of North America (NLAE)
was created in 1947 to bring together the executives of nursery and landscape
associations on a common ground. Since that time, the association has
become a respected oragnization, one that brings true leadership to the
industry and helps its members to become better association executives.
Purpose
The purpose of NLAE (as stated in the by-laws) is to be the cooperative
effort of the members in problem solving; the development and improvement
of services to each member and their respective association; the dissemination
of information to its members; and educational enlightenment relative
to association management.
Who can be a member?
The chief executive or other staff executive of any state, provincial,
multi-state or national nursery or landscape trade association in North
America is eligible for membership, subject to the approval of the
Board of Directors.
